Cells were counterstained with DAPI to label the nuclei (blue color). Relative immunointensity increased from 6.0 ± 0.8 in control to 81.0 ± 2.1 after glutamate exposure. Concurrent treatment of the cells with glutamate and selenite reduce the DHE immunointensity to 47.0 ± 1.2.
