Shown are the results from 4 consecutive sessions before t-HFS was applied. After session s4 (s4 = pre condition), HFS was applied. After t-HFS, discrimination thresholds were significantly reduced. This reduction persisted up to 24 hours after termination of t-HFS, indicating a long-lasting alteration in the individual percept. One week after t-HFS, tactile discrimination thresholds recovered to baseline conditions.
