Postembryonic expression of hepact in larval neurons increases synaptic growth. C) A histogram representation of bouton number shows that hepact overexpression leads to a 31% increase in synapse size (P < 0.001), while exposing wild-type larvae to the inducible ligand does not cause a significant change in synapse size.
