Treatment with EA promoted gait functional recovery via miR-212-5p after MCAO/R. At 7 days after modeling, rats showed slower average running speed and reduced stride length in the affected limbs compared with the Sham group. The rats treated with EA reduced the running duration and improved stride length compared with the MCAO/R group.
