Functional assessment measurements using adhesive tape removal test before and 24 h after MCAO for saline (vehicle) and peptide (R12, R15, R18; 1000 nmol/kg) treatment groups. Post-MCAO assessment was performed immediately before euthanasia. No treatment significantly improved adhesive tape detection or removal times for the left or right paw.
