Expression of estrogen receptors (ERα and ERβ) mRNA and protein in rat neuronal cortical cells. Rat cortical cells were cultured for 7–8 days and total RNA and protein were extracted. RT-PCR and Western blot analysis were carried out as described under "Methods". Rat uterus was used as a positive control.
