Neurons can be classified into functional groups based on two morphological features; the number of branches connected to the soma, and its centrality. Type 1 corresponds to energy efficient behaviour (energy < 1) across the parameter space of h and P. Type 2 exhibits mixed behaviour. Type 3 neurons are inefficient (energy > 1). Type T represents a transitional category with mixed behaviour
