Neonatal ketamine (40 mg/kg × 4 injections) exposure did not affect the expression of caspase-3 in the hippocampal DG tissues of rats at 2 months old (a) and 3 months old (b) on western blot analysis. There was no statistically significant difference in the amounts of caspase-3 in the rat brain tissues following the ketamine anesthesia or control condition at 2 months old (a) and 3 months old (b).
