  1. The corticospinal excitability of the triceps muscle (MEP·Mmax−1) measured during MVC showed a trend towards significance (P = 0.052) whereas it did not show any significance when recorded at 75 and 50% of MVC. The root mean square EMG (rmsEMG·Mmax−1) of the triceps muscles recorded before MEP at MVC, 75 and 50% did not show any difference between time points
