Soluble Aβ decreased and LRP-2 increased after intraventricular (icv)-delivering clusterin peptide D-[113–122]. Quantification of the soluble Aβ levels in hippocampus and the surrounding temporal cortex by ELISA revealed decreased soluble Aβ40 level (a) and soluble Aβ42 level (b). Western-Blot of protein lysates from hippocampus and the surrounding temporal cortex revealed increased LRP-2 expression in clusterin treated mice in comparison to non-treat and NS group (c).
