Workflow of analysis. The analyzed dataset includes 16,515 mRNA probes and 30 experiments (15 experiments for controls and 15 experiments for AD11) for each of the four time points (1, 3, 6, 15 months of age), corresponding to the progressive neurodegeneration. From these data, we computed the whole gene-gene correlation matrix and extracted the sub-matrices corresponding to the selected protein complexes, as described in CORUM database (see Methods). Control and AD11 matrices are compared using the chosen metrics.
