Anti-inflammatory effects of edaravone. Upper column: Iba-1 staining revealed that edaravone administration (250 mg/kg) at 30 minutes after 6-OHDA lesion significantly suppressed the number of Iba-1-positive cells (b), compared to rats without edaravone-administration (a), thus indicating anti-inflammatory effects of edaravone.
