  1. Results from immunocytochemistry are not significantly different (p > 0.05) from data from single cell RT-PCR (Fisher's Exact Test). The immunocytochemical data and RT-PCR data showing co-expression of gustducin with T1Rs is not directly comparable since some cells express only T1R3 and not T1R2+T1R3
