Western blot of MR and GR in the amygdala of SPS rats. Figure 3 shows that MR and GR protein expression in the amygdala and quantitative analysis based on western blot results. A significant decrease in MR and GR protein expression in the amygdala was observed at 1 day, 7 days and 14 days after SPS exposure in comparison with the control group. But MR and GR protein showed an increased tendency at 7 and 14 days in comparison with 1 day after SPS (no significant difference). In the control group, MR protein was significantly higher than GR protein. *P < 0.05 vs. the control group; #P < 0.05 vs. MR.
