  1. * refers to the percentage of BrdU+ cells that did not label with any of the four antibodies. This was calculated as the difference between the sum of the percentages for the panel of four antibodies and 100. This calculation assumes that the selected lineage specific antibodies are indeed specific and BrdU positive cells in this study co-express only one lineage marker.
