The response of a WDR neuron to brushing (A), pressure (B) and pinching (C) stimulation of the ipsilateral hind paw was recorded before, and 5 and 20 min after cessation of a 2-min application of pressure to the sciatic nerve. A horizontal bar in Figure 3A indicates firing associated with each application of brushing.
