Data are expressed as the relative level of the cPLA2 normalized to the endogenous control (β-globulin) using the ΔΔC T method. Protein level is the ratio of optical density of cPLA2 to β–actin, expressed as percent of control. Values are mean ± SD (n = 8 for both groups). *p < 0.05, **p < 0.01 by unpaired t-test.
