Examples of PLCβ2- and SNAP-25-immunoreactive cells that co-label for p27 are indicated by arrows, while single-labeled cell bodies are marked by arrowheads. Anti-NTPDase2-labeled profiles (red) that appear to be cell bodies are negative for nuclear p27 immunoreactivity (arrowheads), while none of the positively-labeled p27 nuclei (green) is surrounded by cytoplasm of an NTPDase2-labeled cell.
