In adult and aged animals an uniform but diffuse mark is widely spread within the cerebellar cortex layers (A-D) and the three cerebellar nuclei: fastigial (fg), interposed (ip), and dentate (dt), although the intensity of the staining is higher in the aged animals (B, D). g: granular layer; m: molecular layer; p: Purkinje cells layer; wm: white matter.
