Total brain glutathione levels were determined in 2'-methyl-MPTP- intoxicated mice, treated with either saline or pantethine. Glutathione levels are expressed as μmol/g of tissue. Values are means ± SD; n = 6 mice per assay. Significant increase versus paired saline, ^§ p < 0.05, and versus the control group, #p < 0.05.
